Mathew’s radio and podcasting career started in 2004, while working as a News Producer at New Jersey 101.5 FM.

The station was exploring ways to transition into digital to keep up with listener trends, and Mathew suggested repurposing the First News program into a podcast – an idea that would go on to succeed and establish his presence in the podcasting arena.

Four years after his radio career started, Mathew worked at the Wall Street Journal Radio network.  During this time he produced and hosted some of our most popular shows such as the Tech News Briefing and Your Money Briefing.  He went on to create two excellent podcast series, Getting Married and Getting Hired.  While producing and creating these trendy new shows, Mathew played an integral role in the development and production of several other shows for Dow Jones & Co.  

After Dow Jones decided to exit the podcasting business, Mathew branched out on his own as an independent podcast producer.  His first clients included Credit.com and former Bloomberg Anchor Betty Liu.  After he created the PodUp Podcast he produced and co-hosted The Hilarie Barsky Show.  He also had the pleasure of being a featured speaker at a number of large podcast conferences including The Mid-Atlantic Podcast Conference, DC Podfest, Podfest Multimedia Expo, as well as a host of smaller more intimate podcasting engagements including those at  the Princeton Public Library, PodAbility, Philly Podcast Meetup, and the International Association of Audio Information Services
